the struggles of the game...

So true.  Even true of Sovereign Chess!

 

Part of what I love about playing a thoughtful game is the capacity it has to take your mind away from the struggles and challenges of the day while simultaneously engaging it in something else. Sometimes, the struggles of the game end up informing the struggles of life.
